How to Appear Like You’re Always Busy!

A question that I’m consistently asked by different people is ‘how are you able to juggle being so busy all the time?’ and many times I find myself thinking, ‘well, I’m not that busy’. Which in all honesty is true!

Blogging and events have always been a part of who I am and what I do, and for those of you who think I’m busy, well, you haven’t met the community of women that I work with.

Vancouver is filled with movers and shakers, millennials who have different goals than the generations before them. Now more than ever, many of us want to create something new and different. We want to achieve something better, higher, and more with hopes that it’ll grow and manifest into something that can sustain us, make us happy and help others. A lot on the plate? I don’t think so.

See the way I look at it is this,

I’m young, and filled with dreams (whether they’re practical dreams .. is a different question) but I’ve always believed that we should always hold on to a dream.

Something that drives us, motivates us, and more importantly, EXCITES us.

But for you who want to be as busy as I am, here are a couple of tips:

1. Keep Saying ‘I’m so busy’

If you say it enough, you start believing it!

2. Post consistently on Instagram

One major reason people think I don’t take a moment to breathe is partially because of my active Instagram account. I post daily (or try to) but that doesn’t mean I’m always on the go. Sometimes.. I’m just working in my jammies (gasp, the secret is out)

3. Look stressed out and breathe heavy when you speak

Apparently I have a resting bitch face when I’m hungry and many interpret this as stress taking over. As bad as stress might be, I’m actually most productive when stress attacks haha!

So no, I’m not busy, and the women who I’m inspired by who work their butts off aren’t busy, it’s the drive to be better that fuels you, and you’re almost so present in what you do and where you want to go, time flies on its own.
