Crunchy leaves and pumpkin spice is in the air! I used to not love Fall—back when I first arrived in Canada. And the reason being was because prior to the move, I’ve always been in 30 degree heat all year round—I didn’t know what cute Fall outfits were okaay. It was the era of chunky multicoloured windbreakers, long johns under jeans, and UGG looking boots.
What a tragedy,
But thankfully my Fall style game has improved tremendously, and I love Fall fashion now. My favourite part is the layering, but also staying cosy, BUT also not needing to shave the legs. Ladies, you know what I mean..
I’m excited to share some of my Fall style favourites and must have pieces that you need in your wardrobe! I’ll be sharing pieces that can go with basically any look, so you can get pieces that last, and aren’t one-offs:
I filmed a YouTube video as well on the topic, it’s a little different than the post, but have a watch!
It’s the season for LEATHER.
I’m talking about leather pants, leather jackets, and those beautiful leather boots that have been sitting in the back of your closet.
Leather is the perfect item for fall because you can pair it with anything, and it instantly creates a chic look. I have leather pieces that are black and brown, mostly. But, I also own a cute pink leather jacket which sees daylight on sunny Fall days!
A cute pair of leggings!
If it’s not too cold out, I love pairing a short Fall dress, or skirts with sheer black leggings underneath. My favourite ones for black sheer leggings are from Sheertex! They preach that they don’t rip, and I can promise you that they don’t—I’ve tried with my nails. Also, I’ve ripped so many of my leggings, it’s a crime.
Ooo and my Gucci leggings are my fav too (expensive, but cute)!

Must have: a Light Cardigan or Shacket
Fall in Vancouver is always a little unpredictable. It can be sunny one minute and then clouds are rolling in the next! I love taking a light cardigan or shacket with me (yes, shacket means shirt jacket) when I go out.
I try to keep it neutral in colour so I can mix and match with multiple pieces and still keep the look together.
A wide brimmed hat!
I am quite picky with hats, because some make my round face look like an egg. So when it comes to hats, I stick with a classic circular brim hat that can elevate any Fall outfit. I’ve also seen some awesome camel or black options that can pair with a jean jacket or any cute top.
They do fly away in the wind though, so I pick and choose my battles.

I hope this Fall style post brings you inspiration as you plan your wardrobe this fall.
