Clearly Contacts held their annual holiday VIP event at the ROBSON
STREET retail location on a rainy Wednesday night. Hosted by Vancouver
style blogger ALICIA QUAN of Alicia Fashionista, this event was
attended by many fashion savvy shoppers to the point that the 100 free goodie
bags were non-existent in less than 30 minutes after the doors opened!
The #MYEYESTYLE HOLIDAY STYLING EVENT was one of the first highly
anticipated holiday season events geared towards favoured customers,
media, fashion bloggers and trend-setters. Invitees were greeted upon
entry by members of the Clearly Contacts staff who handed everyone a
Checklist that asked recipients to note their face shape, frame
preference and colour.
With the Checklist was a Thank You card that had an amazing deal- Simply try on a pair of frames and send it out over social media with the hashtag #MyEyeStyle and receive a free pair of frames from their exclusive brand list! These brands include JOSEPHMARC, LOVE, KAM DHILLON, TREVOR LINDEN, HARDY and MUSTANG.
Local fashion journalist LOLLIE FAKINLEDE used a tablet to record
quick interviews with attendees on their opinions on eyewear trends
before taking a few minutes to help lawyer and contributing Retail
Insider editor RITCHIE PO and myself take our #MyEyeStyle selfies. I
chose the retro chic CHLOE oversize frames, Ritchie the HUGO BOSS and
Lollie rocked the RAYBAN’s.
We were then invited to select our free frames (after sending out
their #MyEyeStyle selfies) on the large screen Mac’s with the
assistance of Clearly Contacts expert eyewear stylists. It may have
been shoulder to shoulder in the store but the customer service was
top notch and it is crystal clear why CLEARLYCONTACTS.CA is the
largest online contact lenses and prescription glasses retailer in Canada.
Good news to those who resisted the urge to pick their free frames
that evening – the code issued is good until November 2015!
