This Valentines’, a couple of influential female bloggers and myself decided to have a lil’ fun and take a new spin on the classic Valentines image. How you ask?
We wanted to focus on the EMPOWERED WOMAN
By definition, empowerment means power and authority. A woman who takes charge of who she is and how she feels and is proud of it. In any and every shape, size and colour, we wanted to encourage all women AND MEN to spend Valentines, not only loving their families, friends and everyone close to them, but more importantly to look in the mirror and LOVE THEMSELVES.
Loving Yourself
Valentines can mean so much more than just romantic love, its a day to celebrate love and a reminder to appreciate the people around you. Family and friends help shape the person we become and they inspire and motivate us daily- it is through daily interaction, that you learn more about yourself and to love yourself more! Not asking you to be narcissistic or anything of the sort BUT a lil’ self appreciation goes a long long way! Treat yourself to a spa day with some girlfriends, or do what I did last year- have a SINGLE LADIES NIGHT!
Feeling Empowered

I’m grateful to be living in a time where women are making a mark for themselves, who are fighting for what they believe in, starting businesses, creating art, and being their own person and having pride in that! We wanted to portray STRENGTH AND POWER – Something that all women should be proud of and be empowered by.
