5 Tips to Look Hot during Fall

Bring out the knits and layer up because Fall is here! Want to know a fun fact? I used to HATE, and I repeat, HATE the cold. And here’s why: Bubble Jackets. I used to be much smaller in size, well, I’m still small and so finding a jacket that can keep me warm AND to not look like it’s consuming me was a huge task. I would layer up in thermal underwear, turtlenecks, scarves and top it off with a sexy bubble jacket. So yes, it’s safe to say I looked like a gigantic muffin.

I’m glad to say that I’ve learned over the years how to make Fall style enjoyable so here are Sam’s 5 Tips to Look and Stay Hot (or warm, however you like) this season!!!

1. BRING COLOUR BACK

This might just be me, but it already looks so grey with the rain and clouds that I don’t want to blend into the greyness as well. Love colour! Put a pop of red or pink or blue and then blend into your greys and blacks.

2. Wear a tighter tank underneath your big knits

I find that I feel warmer when I wear a tight tank underneath my big knits. So whenever that brisk wind comes about, you have something keeping your chest warm!

3. Statement Necklaces make a difference

Layering a huge knit top or turtleneck with a gorgeous statement necklace can instantly bring your look up a notch! Turns the casual into dressy casual and brings attention to your face!

4. Ponchos and Cape Coats

Is it me or are there Ponchos and Cape Coats EVERYWHERE? They’re such a cute piece if you want to go for a more chic Fall look. Ponchos from Dynamite are my favourite <3

5. Stay Warm!

THE most important of all is to be warm and comfortable in whatever you wear. There have been times where I wore a thin jacket because it looked cute only to realize that I’m freezing to death. And the look on one’s face when they’re freezing isn’t the most attractive no matter how cute whatever you’re wearing is. So stay warm! Get a pumpkin spice latte.
